Saranya Naveen Kumar has completed her M.Sc. in Biomedical Genetics from VIT University, Vellore. She has worked on Polymeric Nanofibrous Scaffold for proliferation and differential of Human Mesenchymal Stem cells during her Masters. She had worked as a Research trainee in VIT University, Vellore, from Aug 2011 to Feb 2012 and trained with human cell culture techniques with special reference to morphological studies of cell lines on different substrates in vitro.

She was employed as an Associate Research Officer in CMC, Vellore, from April 2012 to October 2012, where she was involved in Rotaclone – EIA for the detection of rotavirus antigen, RNA extraction, and genotyping of Rotavirus.

Due to her passion towards teaching in science, she joined The Takshilah Global School, Ambur, as a facilitator between October 2013 to July 2017 and she took classes up to grade 8 and was in charge of Science laboratory. She also taught subjects including Hindi and Mathematics.

She obtained her LLB. from Sri RKM college of Law, Chittoor in 2020 and got enrolled (MS.3976/2021) in the Bar council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in 2021. Currently, she is practicing Genetic counselling at the Bioberrys Healthcare and Research Centre, where she is the Additional Director for the Administrative wing.
